Baked Carrot Fries

These are a great way to get more vegetables into your diet and there delicious. Carrots contain high levels of vitamin A which help you achieve that glowing, healthy skin you’ve always wanted. Here’s how to that glow:

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 220 ° Celsius or 425 ° Fahrenheit
  2. Slice carrots into even sized sticks (thin or thick as desired).
  3. Toss the carrot sticks with oil and seasoning. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil (do not overlap the sticks).
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until crisp-tender, flipping them halfway (time will depend on thickness).
  5. Serve immediately.
