Clear Skin Breakfast Smoothie

Berries are rich in fiber as well as vitamins A and C They are also a good source of antioxidants and whether you suffer from acne, dull skin or splotchy skin, the nutrients in berries will help. Here’s our take on how to use berries for breakfast. Enjoy and remember to share.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 1/4 oats or oatmeal
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • A handful of almonds

METHOD

  1. Peel and chop banana.
  2. Place all ingredients in the blender and combine until smooth.
  3. Top with fresh berries, chopped nuts or sprinkle of chia seeds (optional.)
