6 Spring Clean Steps for the Best Skin

Posted by on

Maintaining a clear skin lifestyle can be difficult. Whilst doing so is arguably a part of the growing wellness movement that’s so popular on social media – clean eating, fitness, and mindfulness – it can sometimes be easy to fall out of it. With the changing of the seasons, I’ve decided to draft 6 steps to spring clean for the best skin:
  1. Streamline your routine

Don’t make it more difficult than it needs to be. I try to keep my SkinB5 Extra Strength Tablets wherever I’m likely to need them – in the kitchen cupboard for breakfast, at my desk for during the day at work, and in my wallet should I have lunch or dinner out.
  1. Eat seasonally super foods

Take advantage of the beautiful fresh produce that becomes available with spring. There’s a great blog which details some of these foods such as pears, asparagus, cherries, spinach and mushrooms to name a few. You’re spoilt for choice! But be sure to also look out for foods which can inflame your acne – they’re also listed on the blog.
  1. Treat yourself to a face mask at least once a week

Yes, it is a treat, and it is possible to find the time once in a week. To adhere to step one – streamline your routine – I do suggest you incorporate the face mask into your shower. I’ve outlined a number of tips on how you can do this in a recent blog.
  1. Supplement to nourish your skin

It may be easy to forget, but SkinB5 Extra Strength Control Tablets (SkinB5 Control Caplets also!) do much more than address acne. As SkinB5 is a supplement based solution, it’s actually nourishing your skin from within by providing your body essential vitamins and minerals. This improves your skin’s health and vitality, while also addressing the deficiencies which contribute to your acne breakouts.
  1. Water consumption

This is critical, not just for the maintenance of clear skin, but for the greater health of your skin, your body and overall wellness. It’ll keep your internals working well and your mind sharp. Avoid headaches, lethargy and a dry mouth (even bad breath!) by keeping up your water intake. I’ve come into the habit of keeping a water bottle beside my bed and another at my desk so there’s always water at hand.
  1. Sunshine

Everyone knows that the sun is the best part of spring, and it’s also free which means it’s amazing. Just be careful not to enjoy too much, as you can burn! The vitamin D from measured exposure to the sun will do wonders for your skin. Be careful not to let the sun damage your skin, and ensure you’re not using an oily sunscreen – for help with this, we have a number of great blogs on these topics which you can read here.
