Kale Salad With Almonds & Hemp Seeds

We all know kale and almonds are great for our skin, but what about hemp seeds? Just eating a few tablespoons of hemp seeds can reduce acne and keep your skin young and fresh looking! They contain a good source of omega-3 fatty acids that nourish the skin and reduce inflammation and plenty of protein to promote new skin cell growth. Ingredients

  • 4 cups kale
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almonds
  • 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Black pepper, to taste
Method
  1. Remove stem from kale and place into a bowl. Add olive oil and sea salt, and massage leaves using your hands by rubbing leaves between your fingers to soften the fibers. This also makes your kale less bitter.
  2. Dice avocado and add to bowl, along with hemp seeds and almonds. Add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, and toss. Top with black pepper.
